Well, I've hemmed and hawed about this blog. What to call it, how to write my first blog entry? I've wanted to create a blog for over a year and have been stuck at square one. What do I want to post about? What kind of pictures do I take and how will that relate to my theme? What is my theme? What is my deal? And on from there...So just getting this first post up, and deciding, more or less, on my Driftless travel theme, seems like an accomplishment for me. I think I'm taking it all a tad seriously and maybe read too many blogs, thereby paralyzing myself. Everyone's blog is so pretty, smart, perfect, fitting to them. I'm finally just jumping in. My blog and my theme and my deal will reveal itself along the way and I will adapt. I truly love the Driftless Area of Wisconsin (and Minnesota and Iowa), take lots of pictures of the area and with my family often in tow this seems to be the way to go. So I start with the nuts and bolts and very beginnings of a blog, and I build and write and photograph and post away. Hello, blogging world. Its nice to finally join you!
