Beulah's 99th Birthday

She's my grandma and she's 99 years old.  She doesn't really want to be 99.  She's been hurtling towards centenarian status kicking and screaming.  Let's just say she's a spitfire.  And the fire has only increased with age.  She's really slowed down this last year.   Her sister Cleona is over 100 so Beulah might be staying alive to compete with her sister.    I like to think she's stayed in order to see her grandkids settle into their adult lives.  She's a sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wife, a golfer, a gardener, a great cook and the family storyteller.  She's stubborn and she's loved and she's 99 today.
